Where R We Heading Towards......

Hi Guyz,

I think our Indian politics is moving from bad to worst. As the Lok Sabha elections dates are coming closer, the blame game among the various political parties already started. Here everybody is talking or engaged in targeting the individuals or the other parties, nobody remembers what India (Mumbai attacks) has faced in the recent past and no political party has come up with those issues in their manifestos. That's really shameful.

Nobody is thinking about the interests of our country's interest and it seems all the parties want the power just to use that for their personal growth. As we all know power brings the responsibilities. And i see everybody wants to have the power but wanna run away from the responsibilities.

Sometimes I bound to feel myself really helpless and think "Where are we heading towards...". And i feel its not only about you and me, we have to come together and give this a real thought.

This time around i see some really well educated and intellectual people contesting. But thing is its not only about contesting, Will they be able to achieve the success and if so how long their hands will remain clean working in the environment full of dust and disgust.
But first thing is that they have to win and surely given a chance to work.

And we all have have to start thinking smart to make this world a better place to live. And we really need some young intellectuals to come up and bring the change towards betterment.
Hope we young people start thinking over this and it should be SOON. :)

Looking forward to get your views over this. What you people feel and think.

Cheers
Gaurav

So... this post represents the turmoil in the hearts of every Indian when the polls are near... yes, this time we had not only gone through Mumbai attacks , we have gone thru ard 88 other bombing too in 17 different places...
Naxals, and internal issue not being looked into has caused more deaths than Mumbai high profile attacks. All major cities were rocked by chain Saturday blasts but those have conviniently forgotten because the effected were not as rich.
kandamal, easily side tracked. A story of devastation of a state on a trivial issue of convertsion... again because affluent were not involved.
Then education - reservations are eating into the best talents of the nation. But does not effect the powerful as the votes have poured in. I am not against reservations, but then these shd be given at grassroot levels rather than in graduation colleges where merit shd have been the only criteria of selection.

There are many such issues. So now after elections, we can see a lot many educated youngsters climbing the steps of Parliament. Lets hope they are passionate abt the issues too as they are passionate abt winning...
